Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
We use a box that contains 12 slots for all shipments. Each slot can accommodate 2 cans or one bottle. We charge a flat rate of $15 for each box and require a minimum of 6 slots to be filled. You can order as many boxes as you like—the same flat rate fees apply to each box.
Will you ship to me?
If you have an Ontario address and are at least 19 years old, we will happily send beer your way. Unfortunately, we are not permitted to ship outside of Ontario.
When should I expect to receive my order?
We currently ship twice a week. Orders received by 10 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays will ship out the same day. Orders typically take 2 days to arrive in major urban areas. Other areas may take 4 or more days. By law, a signature and ID check is required on delivery.
I’m local. Are there other options available to me?
Yes! We are offering a local delivery service (see below for details) or you can drop by our retail shop.
Can I include merchandise with my order?
At present, we are only shipping beer.
Do I need to worry about shipping affecting the quality of the beer?
This should not be a concern. Prior to shipment, all of our beer is stored in optimal conditions. The relatively short time in transit should not have any detrimental effect. We recommend that you refrigerate hoppy and fruited beers when you receive them. Other styles can be stored in cellar conditions (ideally 12 ºC or below). If in doubt, check the label for guidance.
What do I do if some of the beer in my order was damaged?
While we will mourn the loss of precious liquid, we’ve got you covered. Please take photos of the crushed or punctured can(s) and/or broken bottle(s), along with the damaged packaging that they arrived in. Send them to orders@stormstayed.com along with your order details and we’ll arrange to send you a replacement or provide you with a store credit.
Local Delivery
Can I have beer delivered to me?
Yes! If you live within London, we are offering a delivery service. Place your order through our online shop and select “Local Delivery” on checkout. We will confirm your eligibility for delivery using your postal code.
Can I have beer delivered to someone else?
What a thoughtful person you are! You certainly can have beer delivered to someone else, provided that they live within our delivery area and are over the age of 19.
Simply select "Local Delivery" and enter the desired recipient for the delivery address. Please include their phone number in case we have to connect with them for delivery purposes.
How much does delivery cost?
Local delivery is free for all orders over $50. For smaller orders, the delivery fee is $5. Note that there is a 6 can or 3 bottle minimum for all delivery orders.
When should I expect to receive my order?
We are doing deliveries on Thursdays, usually in the early evening. The order cut off time for same-day delivery is 2 pm. Any orders received afterwards will be shifted to the next delivery day.
You will receive an email confirmation of your delivery day. Please be home to receive the shipment during this time, as we cannot leave your order unattended. If no one is available to receive the order, the items will be brought back to our Retail Shop. You can pick it up at your convenience.
Local Pickup
Can I purchase beer online and pick it up at the brewery?
Yes. Place your order through our online shop and select “Brewery Pickup” on checkout.
When can I pickup my order?
You can come by the retail shop anytime that we are open. Our hours are listed at the bottom of the page. After placing your order, we ask that you give us a minimum of one hour to get it ready before dropping by.
Is there any charge for pickup orders?
No, pickup orders are free of charge.
Do I have to come into the Retail Shop to pick up my order?
No. Drive over by the south entrance, beside the patio, and call us at 519-601-7829. Pop your trunk and someone will place your order into it. Easy peasy!
I’d like to drop by without ordering ahead of time. Is that ok?
Sure, you can visit our Retail Shop and select your beer from the fridge. At this time, we are not allowing mix-and-match single can purchases. If you would like to purchase single cans, we ask that you place your order online.
Retail Shop
Your front door is closed. Are you still open?
If you are visiting during the hours listed at the bottom of the page, we are open. To help encourage physical distancing, we are directing everyone to enter through the south door, by our patio, if possible. If you need to use an automatic door, please feel free to enter through our front door.
What beer is currently available?
You can check this site for a list of everything that we have in stock.
Do you fill growlers?
No. For a variety of reasons, we stopped all growler, howler, and crowler fills some time ago. Most of our beer is available in 355 ml short cans or 375 ml bottles that have been packaged under optimal conditions. These ensure that you can always enjoy our beer at its best, without risk of staling or forcing the consumption of a litre or two at a time. Our small-batch pilot beers are produced in limited quantities and are available by the glass only.
Do you take back empty cans or bottles?
Unfortunately, we lack the ability to process empties. You can return all empty cans and bottles to the Beer Store for a deposit refund.
Can I return 4- and 6-pack carriers for reuse?
Absolutely. The Paktech carriers that we use are made from durable recycled plastic and can be reused many times.
I’m interested in getting a keg of your beer. Is this possible?
Not at the moment. We are only supplying kegs to licensees.
Patio
Is the patio open?
Yes, our renovated patio is open. Please dress warmly as it is unheated. See website footer for current hours.
Is the patio covered?
Each outdoor table has a patio umbrella to provide some shade from the sun or shelter from light rain.
Is there a time limit?
We request that you keep your stay limited to two hours. This ensures that everyone gets a chance to enjoy the patio.
Is there a limit on group size?
Not anymore. The latest requirements don't state a maximum group size per table.
Do I need a reservation?
No. We are currently operating on a first come, first served basis.
Is it table service or bar service?
Generally speaking, we are operating with standard bar service where you must approach the bar to order your drink(s). Face coverings that securely cover the nose, mouth, and chin are currently required.
Are you using plastic/disposable glassware or standard glassware?
We have decided to use standard glassware. The dishwasher sanitizes the glassware exceptionally well.
Do you provide a water station?
Not during the pandemic. We will have bottled water (available at the bar) in lieu of our self-serve water station.
What happens in extremely hot or inclement weather?
The plan for the patio is to operate rain or shine, so you may have to plan accordingly if you’re aware that extreme heat or heavy rain is in the forecast. We need to avoid anyone rushing into our taproom because of weather.
Can I get a flight of beer on the patio?
Not during the pandemic. Why not? It’s a decision we made to improve efficiency and limit the handling of glassware.
Do you have non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes. Please see bar staff for available options. During the pandemic, coffee and tea are unavailable.
Is Storm Stayed taking extra safety measures for the patio?
You bet! You can expect to find us wearing masks, cleaning tables, seats, and frequent touchpoints before, during, and after your stay. We also provide sanitizer stations throughout our establishment.
Do you have hand sanitizer available?
Yes. We have sanitizer stations set up throughout our establishment.
Do I have to wear a face mask?
Face coverings that securely cover the nose, mouth, and chin are currently mandated by the Middlesex-London Health Unit to be worn when entering the Taproom to order or visit the washroom. When seated on the Patio or extended outdoor area, you may remove your face mask.
Taproom
Is your Taproom open?
As of Tuesday, February st at noon, yes. Our indoor Taproom and renovated Patio are both open with standard bar service and glassware. Fresh beer to go can be purchased in our Retail Shop or online. You can submit your order in advance with a choice of picking up at the brewery or having it delivered in the City of London. Local deliveries occur weekly (Thursday evening).
